Event Description
No one welcomes warning signs that indicate that a product or service is failing in the market. But, let's face it, warning signs serve a purpose: to urgently inform the need for a response. Unfortunately, if you're receiving warning signs after a product launch, you're getting them too late. Just as treating symptoms of an illness early offers the best hope for a quick recovery, so does addressing concerns about a product or service in the early development process.
Insight Product Development has worked with medical device companies on successful products for more than 20 years, and has a process that informs the development process in order to mitigate the risk of failure. In this presentation, Insight will share its approach for proactively identifying and responding to obstacles to success early on and (relatively) inexpensively, including:
• Extracting user needs beyond VOC
• Effectively identifying, and speaking to, ALL of your stakeholders
• Making sure your requirements are the RIGHT requirements
• The power of iteration in the development process
Attendees of this presentation will come away with a better understanding of steps they can implement that will help with mitigating risk, encouraging compliance, and fostering brand loyalty with products and services they are responsible for.
